Dude this guide is actually incredible. I beat this game one time a year ago and this was my first playthrough since then and i got the s+ first try you are a merical worker 🙏🏼

Dude thank you so much for this guide, i never would have been able to pull this off. The only thing that ever gave me a struggle was the sewers where as you would say the RNG gods frowned down upon me. I had to restart it once and then in my second try, did the seweres perfectly in roughly 13 minutes. And also, idk if im just bad or something but the G1 Berken fight was way harder that you made it look, it took me 10+ tries and for some reason i had to hit him more times to put him down than you did. But besides that, it was a flawless run, you actually got me a time of 01:56:08 with 3 saves and an S+ rank. So thank you so much man god bless you. P.s i will never pick up a map again ❤️

I'm so glad there's someone out there who respects the game for what it is rather than what it's missing. I miss the clock tower sure, and I do wish there might've been one more street level, but the removal of those sections does do wonders for the pacing. The game does everything it needs to with the length it is, and I genuinely really dig that. I do hope they don't take this game as a failure or anything because of the reception, because there's just so much good here.

After putting it off for 5 years, finally am going to do this. I'm complete shit at Leon's run (run Claire's easily on hardcore in my sleep while Leon's kicks my ass even on standard lol), so this'll help a lot. But since I know I'm really bad at the gator, Ada and the sewers while I am good at G1, I'll structure the saves a bit differently - I won't save until before the gator instead of before G1, then my second save will be directly before G2. Third will be at G3 as usual. 1st save: 51:05. Hell yeah first try. Leon's path is so much more difficult, I'm glad I know what to take, which windows to board etc. Your narration and occasional screw-ups also let me know that I didn't fuck over my run by having to use a heal or something. Let's see how the next part goes... 2nd save: 1:14:57. As expected. Died immediately at the gator twice, then died half a dozen times at Ada's zombie part. Later just rolled my eyes and got the flashbang a bit further back to stun them to get by since Ada's gun for me just doesn't seem to stun reliably. Sewers went well, knew them a bit from Claire's A run. Still by accident used up a grenade, hope this won't screw me over. Took a bad knife with me as you suggested, and it was the right choice, needed both a grenade and a knife to get by because the guys were obnoxiously placed. But now, my nightmare part is over, let's go G2 and NEST! I reached the sewers at about the same time as you (1:01 something), so I should be on track. 3rd save: 1:41:48. Died once in NEST trying to juke Ivies and the tyrant, otherwise fine. Like that your route gives so much extra resources that we can really go guns blazing if neccessary. Did the save also with the bag and after ordering my inventory, so G3 let's goo! Aiming for sub 2 hours, if possible! End time: 1:52:06. Died once to Super Tyrant and G3 each. Holy moly they're so much harder than G3 with Claire or G4 (who's a complete joke). Now to enjoy the rocket launcher and never look back at Leon's routes in hardcore! (aside from second run...)

Pesanta just disappears because in separate ways when you defeat her in her first phase it triggers a cutscene I believe, I could be wrong
